There was barely a moment to breathe in between the delivery of bikinis and Bikini Fling first hitting its public, with a catwalk show at alternative fashion week. I have to say I had a whole heap of butterflies (and caterpillars, I'm pretty sure - possibly even some dragonflies) in my tum on the day of the event, but it ran super smoothly and was a total adventure.  I can't wait to do the next show! Jason the delivery man was more than a little bemused to have me jumping around insisting on taking photos as he carted box after box of bikinis into the Textile Factory.

Innocent as this picture may look, it nevertheless marks the culmination of over fifteen months of hard work!

The result?  BEAUTIFUL bikinis.  I know, I know - that I could *in theory* be classified as ever so slightly biased, but I know lovely when I see it, and these 'kinis are truly sublime.  They will perk up your bee-hind, jaunty your buzooms, and make you feel altogether your utmost best in your tiny two-piece.

I spent the whole day with a very very happy glow in my chest, counting the numbers, ensuring everything was in place and doing a strict quality control.  Everything is just absolutely beautiful.

Now to pick one bikini - my favourite - and to head off to the pool for a swim.  I think it will have to be the Lucie-lou in polka dot for me (today).

Now I'm off to book in a weekend of wild swimming at the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire.  What say you come and join me in creating some watery mischief...

Good golly Miss Molly it's been a long time since the last blogpost.  But rather than berate myself and self-flagellate with lashings of online guilt, I thought I'd check in very briefly to say - YES, it has been very busy indeed at Bikini Fling HQ.  Yes, there are lots of exciting happenings to report on. But now is not the time to update you - although I promise that will come.  Now, it is PLAYTIME. After a month long, much-needed (and possibly unannounced, ahem) internet hiatus over the Christmas break, we're back to wish you a very happy and we hope wild swim/skinny dip filled New Year! What mischief did you get up to over your holidays? We headed off to the rather wet and wild coast of San Sebastian, Spain, where we wimped out of any New Year's dips as the storms and the waves were too big...
But it's a brand spanking new year, a year where you will start to see some real bikinis from Bikini Fling... There are lots of things for us to scrabble around frantically updating you about (challenges blitzed! Photoshoots behind the scenes!). But for now, it just so happens to be a Friday, and we know what that means. Yup, it's our Friday Naughty Nymph Series - where we scour London, the UK and the world for you, seeking out women who are causing mischief, living life loudly and setting the world on fire in their own unique and rather wonderful ways - finding out what makes them feel their most confident, happy and, as the French say, 'bien dans sa peau', comfortable in their own skin.
So it is rather apt that we kickstart our nymphs this year with the writer of all things happy herself, the gorgeous Sasha Kerr of the Happiness Project London blog.
